But no accolade means more than the call home. In 2024, I decided to make a change, and trade skyscrapers for red earth, and plant myself in the heart of IGBO land. Why? Because our language, our festivals, our proverbs they’re not relics. They’re blueprints for resilience, creativity, and community.
